Strong Confident Kind Education is in the process of becoming a CrossFit affiliate. The coronavirus lockdown has delayed the final part of this programme, but we are excited that we will soon become CrossFit Strong Confident Kind.
In the meantime, we are continuing our functional fitness introduction courses following government guidance-starting on 24th August.
We aim to provide functional fitness to colleagues who work in education, social care and health as we recognise how important balancing challenging vocational work is with mind, body and spirit.
Our classes are a maximum of 6 so that coaching and instruction is available to everyone and learning and progress are rapid! If you have ever wondered about this kind of exercise, we provide a nurturing, inclusive and personalise way in!
You will learn the principles and techniques of Olympic weightlifting, gymnastic bodyweight movements and metabolic conditioning in a constantly varies and high intensity format. Every workout will be scaled to your current level of fitness. We know that within a few sessions you will not believe how fit you already are and hopefully want to continue to be part of our community beyond the course.
New Athletes sign up for two classes a week over 8 weeks and then have the option of continuing their fitness journey with others who have completed the course.
